Our Program

Certificate Program (Duration: 12 months)

The Certificate program is designed for emerging leaders who want a solid foundation in leadership while also developing their spiritual and moral capacities.

Module 1: Introduction to Leadership and Biblical Foundations

Duration: 2 weeks (Online + 1 Week in-person)

Key Topics:

  • Biblical definitions of leadership (e.g., Servant Leadership – Matthew 20:26-28; Leadership as Stewardship – 1 Peter 4:10)
  • The importance of integrity and humility in leadership (Proverbs 11:3, Philippians 2:3)
  • The difference between worldly and biblical leadership models
  • Jesus as the ultimate model for leaders (Mark 10:45)

Module 2: Leading with Vision and Purpose

Duration: 3 weeks (Online)

Key Topics:

  • Developing a God-given vision (Proverbs 29:18)
  • Understanding purpose in leadership (Jeremiah 29:11)
  • Setting goals that align with biblical values (Luke 14:28-30)
  • Aligning personal vision with God’s mission (Matthew 6:33)


Module 3: Ethical Leadership and Biblical Decision-Making

Duration: 3 weeks (Online)

Key Topics:

  • Biblical decision-making process (James 1:5)
  • The role of wisdom in leadership (Proverbs 2:6)
  • Ethics and morality in leadership (Romans 12:2)
  • Conflict resolution from a biblical perspective (Matthew 18:15-17)


Module 4: Leadership in Ministry and Community

Duration: 3 weeks (Online + 1 Week in-person)

Key Topics:

  • Leading with compassion and servant-heartedness (John 13:12-17)
  • Leadership in the local church (Ephesians 4:11-13)
  • Building strong community relationships (Hebrews 10:24-25)
  • Impactful outreach and serving the community (Matthew 25:35-40)


Module 5: Communication Skills for Effective Leadership

Duration: 2 weeks (Online)

Key Topics:

  • Biblical principles of communication (Proverbs 15:23)
  • Active listening and empathetic communication (James 1:19)
  • Public speaking and delivering messages effectively (2 Timothy 4:2)
  • Building trust through transparency (Proverbs 12:22)


Module 6: Leadership and Personal Development

Duration: 2 weeks (Online)

Key Topics:

  • Self-leadership and spiritual growth (Galatians 5:22-23)
  • Balancing personal and professional life (Luke 10:38-42)
  • Building emotional intelligence for leadership (Nehemiah 2:2-5)
  • The importance of mentorship and accountability (2 Timothy 2:2)

Capstone Project/Final Assessment
A comprehensive project that applies biblical leadership principles to a real-life scenario, either in a church, business, NGO, or social enterprise setting. Students will create a leadership strategy plan, implement it, and reflect on its effectiveness and biblical foundation.



Program Delivery Format

Online Components:

 Each module will feature lectures, readings, discussions, case studies, and practical exercises. Weekly live sessions with mentors and guest speakers will provide opportunities for deeper insights and real-world applications.


In-Person Sessions:

 Every semester will include a two-week in-person session focused on experiential learning, leadership exercises, and networking with peers. This is an opportunity to engage in group activities, build relationships, and receive personal feedback from instructors and mentors.

Assessments:

 Assessments will include quizzes, group discussions, leadership projects, and peer evaluations. Each module will have practical assignments that reflect the integration of biblical principles with leadership skills.


Certification and Diploma Award:

 Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded either a Certificate or Diploma in Leadership, grounded in biblical values and principles.


This curriculum can be adjusted and refined based on the specific needs and contexts of our audiences. It focuses on building leaders who lead with integrity, vision, compassion, and responsibility—principles that are timeless and vital in all sectors.
